China Press Headline: See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Donates 130 Thousand to Aid Building Children’s Centre

Petaling Jaya, 19 Aug 2015 – See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Donates RM 133,280 to Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah (PPKKCTM) to build a new children’s centre building at Taman SEA.

See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Donation will sponsor the construction of 2 special children’s activity rooms and 1 children’s bed room.

Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah (PPKKCTM) is founded in 1997, to help disabled children from all races and religions, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, micro cephalous, hydro cephalous, global delay, epilepsy, stroke, muscular dystrophy, hyper activity, physical challenges, intellectual disabilities as well as speech, audio and visual impairments.

PPKKCTM has 4 centres, located in various areas in Petaling Jaya, is taking care of 100 children and providing day care for 10 children.

See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Group Executive Director, Mr Teoh Chiang Kai said, helping others and giving back to the society is a very important matter, which is why our company has always been very supportive of the NGO activities in Petaling Jaya.

The attending guests include See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Group CEO, Mr. Joe Tan and PPKKCTM Chairlady Mrs. SK MANIKUMAR.

This is the fourth time that PPKKCTM received contribution from See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd. Earlier in 2006, See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd had multiple contributions throughout various PPKKCTM events, and the sum of donation is RM 427,500.

Once the new facility is ready, it can accommodate near 250 children with complete facilities and equipment like computers, library and reading rooms.

Also, the new facility will have many rehabilitation facilities, includes physiotherapy, medical room, hydrotherapy and special children activity room.
